I've got a 2016 Jeep Wrangler that I use mostly for daily driving with the occasional desert trip on weekends. The oil change light came on and I know I'm due for something, but I'm trying to figure out if I should just do the basic stuff or go all in on the major service. The dealer quoted me two different prices but honestly their explanation was confusing, something about inspecting the diffs and transfer case on the major one. I've been looking at Major Minor Services Mussafah from a few independent shops and the price difference is pretty big depending on what they include. I don't wanna be cheap and skip something important like the spark plugs or coolant flush if it's actually due, but I also don't wanna pay for a bunch of inspections that are basically just visual checks. Does anyone have a rule of thumb for when to do the major versus minor on the Pentastar engine? I'm at about 90k km now and the previous owner's records are a bit spotty. Also wondering if the independents use genuine Mopar filters or if that even matters. Any advice from fellow Jeep owners in the Abu Dhabi area would be great, I just want to keep this thing reliable without wasting money. Thanks.
