I've been going to the same small garage in Deira for years but the old guy retired and the new staff just want to swap batteries as fast as possible without even looking at the terminals or the ground connection. Last time they replaced my battery and a month later I had the same slow crank issue because they left corrosion all over the positive post. I'm looking for a place that still does the job properly like cleaning the clamps, applying grease, and maybe checking the alternator belt while they're at it. A friend who drives an old Patrol told me about a Dedicated Battery Replacement in Deira that takes time to do things right instead of rushing to the next customer. Has anyone here actually used them for an older car? I don't mind paying a bit extra for someone who doesn't treat my engine bay like a fast food drive through. Also wondering if they can test for parasitic drain because I suspect my trunk light might be staying on. Just want that old school service back.
